About

A seasoned professional with over three decades of experience, Radonna Foley-Scott is a leader in healthcare sales and marketing.

After college, Radonna entered the workforce immediately and began working with Burroughs Wellcome at the start of the herpes and AIDS epidemics.

A part of the historic effort to combat HIV/AIDS, she worked at ground zero of the epidemic in the San Francisco Bay Area, to facilitate patient access to the life-prolonging medication, azidothymidine (AZT) and Acyclovir.

She stayed with Burroughs Wellcome, now known as GlaxoSmithKline, and rose through the ranks during her year tenure with the company. She was an award-winning sales representative and manager, and received honors including the Spirit Award, Leadership Council, Presidents Club and more. In 2002, she received the Diamond Winner’s Circle Award, and was ranked second out of 43 account managers nationwide for market-share growth and formulary access.

Realizing her true passion, after over 20 years in pharmaceutical sales, Radonna joined VITAS Innovative Health Care as an account manager covering acute hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, physician offices, and assisted living communities. She has gone on to hold positions at several hospice and home health providers in the Bay Area, using her skill set to negotiate contracts, increase sales, manage successful sales teams, and develop and improve sales and marketing strategies.

Having personal experience with the death of her mother in 2013, Radonna’s objective working in the field of hospice is to connect patients and families with compassionate, quality end-of-life care. She works with families and healthcare providers to ensure that the end of life transition is smooth and as comfortable as possible, for patients and families alike.

Throughout her career in home health and hospice, Radonna learned that she has an intense passion for working with the elderly. She considers herself to be an advocate for seniors and ensuring that they have quality of life and dignity during their later days. Her goal is to ensure that every senior feel loved and respected at all times.

Radonna currently lives in Hayward, California, and enjoys volunteering, walking, and floral design outside of work.
